If you have a product in hand in the supermarket, you cannot see at a glance whether it is made sustainably and how healthy it is. ONOFF SPICES is now participating in "Transparent about Sustainability", a project that aims to make this information bite-sized and quickly accessible.
’Transparent about Sustainability’ was developed by Questionmark (in collaboration with the The Sustainability Consortium and Wageningen University & Research, and is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality). Using a unique database with label information of more than 50,000 products from Dutch supermarkets, they conduct independent research into the environmental friendliness, working conditions, animal welfare and health of consumer products. Goal: to increase the range of sustainable and healthy products and to help sustainable producers to become more visible.
